Vintage Gothic Necklace Pendant – SOLD

This is an extraordinary Vintage Gothic necklace pendant, very detailed with lovely scrolling work to the necklace chain and texture to the pendant.

I wonder whether this may have been made for the theatre/television originally because of the size and quality.  It is either made of a pewter or silver plated on a base metal.  There is no wear to the plate it remains dark silver grey.  It reminds me of the silver base metal used in the Victorian to 1920s eras.

I would describe it as in the style of a Gothic or Victorian necklace and pendant. It looks as if it is old certainly made at least 50-60 years ago certainly Vintage, possibly earlier, but I’m edging on the side of caution.

The Pendant has Bristol blue stones and a central amber coloured stone.

The chain is total length 28″ long  and the pendant is 3 1/4″ long x 2.1/4″ width. The overall length from the top of the chain to the bottom of the pendant is 19″.
