Antique 1920s Sterling Silver Fur Clips

These 1920s Silver fur clips are in silver set with marcasite stones. They are marked with Depose on the back and have two prongs.  The prongs were so they could be easily pushed into a fur coat or stole. Typical of the Art Deco period where strong straight and angular lines were iconic of the time.

They are a good size, can be worn in so many ways, on a hat, fastening a scarf together,  on a fabric bag or jacket, fur coat or stole, incredibly versatile.

Marked ‘Depose’ which was often found on French jewellery.

Size: 1 1/8″ wide x 1 1/4″ long

Condition: Excellent Antique

Date: 1920s/1930s
