Vintage 1920s Jakob Bengel Red Dress Clip

This Jakob Bengel lipstick red galalith dress clip has a chrome ball design to the front and is from the 1920s period. The red galalith was a form of French/German bakelite. On each side of the clip the galalith has been shaped out giving the galalith a tactile feel to it as well as a variated colour range.

The clip back is strong and would look great adorning a hat, jacket, scarf, blouse or wear on a chain as a pendant or on a torque.

Similar clips can be viewed in the Bengel Museum and in the Bengel books.
