18ct 1950s Alexandrite Ring – SOLD

This is a heavy Rose Gold 18ct 1950s Alexandrite ring. There is a European hallmark on the outside of the shank. The stone has a flat top with faceted sides all around the stone. The stone is encased in gold, which is a roll over setting, which means it doesn’t have claws.  On the lower level there is a pierced patterned setting, this is then set on top of another setting where the shank is attached.

The stone is a deep purple with hints of blue and reds as you move the ring around.

This item has a lot of gold in it due to the large setting.
