1920s Neiger Bead Necklace – SOLD

This beautiful 1920s Neiger bead necklace is in a jade green glass with warm red/brown beads.  It has a large silver pendant metal panel which has green glass cabochon stones. There are various shaped beads dispersed by metal filigree panels and bead caps.  The red pinky brown beads are an unusual colour quite typical of that used in Neiger jewellery. This is a very long necklace so fits easily over the head.

Those of you who collect or know Neiger jewellery will appreciate the complex design and intricacy of the beads and metal findings which make up this necklace.  Neiger is one of my long time favourite designers, they were very prolific manufacturers, with many ranges and styles of jewellery producing necklaces, brooches, earrings and bracelets.  Their designs are very collected and sort after and at one time had their own ‘Neiger Collectors Club’.
