1930s Bakelite Ant Brooch – SOLD
2 inch long x 1 7/8 inch wide overall
A 1930s-1950s Bakelite and gold plated framed metal brooch. I have seen these described as having Amber bodies but I think it is more likely to be a type of Bakelite. Unusual and rare to be an Ant and not a spider which were very popular insects through the decades.
