Jakob Bengel Blue Necklace – SOLD
Jakob Bengel Blue Necklace
Jakob Bengel 1920s chrome and petrol blue and navy blue galalith necklace. Bengel was famous for his interesting and sometimes complicated linking designs and the use of galalith (french bakelite). This has a central chrome panel with a lovely art deco design galalith drop and chrome ball. The chain is referred to as a snake link design meaning it is soft and fluid. This necklace also has an oversized bolt ring clasp which you often find on Jakob Bengel pieces.
Please see the other Jakob Bengel pieces I currently have on the website. I also have other JB items that not on the website i.e. brooches and dress clips so please email me if you would like to view.
Bengel pieces aren’t signed, the design is his signature, sometimes they may have a mark on the clasp ring which reads – Guaranteed or Gesch but that is as much as I’ve ever seen. I believe they did have swing tags, hence they were removed before wearing.
Please be confident in buying I do not sell reproduction jewellery, these pieces are from a previous collector of Jakob Bengel.
