Jakob Bengel Bow Necklace

Jakob Bengel Bow Necklace from the 1920s/1930s period in chrome with chrysoprase green glass stones. A very iconic Art Deco necklace with the front bow and the triangular hammered chrome panels with the flat back stones.  It is in exceptional condition, except for the chain has some wear to the chrome.  The stones are all in excellent condition, no chips or cracks and there is a screw closure.

Bengel pieces aren’t signed, the design is his signature. Sometimes they may have a mark on the ring that the clasp attaches to which reads, ‘Guaranteed’ or ‘Gesch’ but that is as much as I’ve ever seen. I believe they did have swing tags, hence they were removed before wearing.

Please be confident in buying, I do not sell reproduction jewellery, these pieces are from a collector of Jakob Bengel who collected in the 1970s.
