Vintage Jakob Bengel Blue Galalith and Interlinking chrome chain Necklace 1920-1930

Vintage Jakob Bengel Blue Galalith panels with interlinking chrome chain Necklace 1920-1930.  The front of the necklace has a triangular galalith panel and then there are further galalith panels intergrated in the chain.  In unbelievable condition little to no wear to the metal.

Bengel was famous for his chain linking designs and this is another one of his finest.  You will see many of these elements in pictures in either of the 3 Jakob Bengel books.  (A new book has recently been published: https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Jakob-Bengel-Stiftung/dp/3897906953 )

Information

Bengel pieces aren’t signed, sometimes they may have a mark on the clasp ring which reads – ‘Guarantee’ or  Made in Germany, but that is as much as I’ve ever seen. I believe they did have swing tags, hence they were removed and thrown away before wearing.

Size: Necklace is 41cm (16.5″) end to end.

The width of the chain is 0.5cm

The pendant drop is 4cms

The width is 2.8cms

Condition: Excellent Vintage
